Cynthia J. Harris has served as president of CJH Educational Grant Services, Inc. over the past 15 years, developing grant applications for nonprofits and administering three (3) federal grants through the company:

  • Compassion Capital Fund, (USSDHHS, $3.3 million – TA, training, and sub-awards to novice nonprofits

  • Healthy Marriage Demonstration Grant, $2.75 million – relationship skill development for 1,000 teens annually

  • Competitive Abstinence Education Grant Program, $649,342 (2012-2014) – abstinence curriculum for 1,000 vulnerable NC teens annually

Harriett Pavon-Rosado (CJH Administrator), is a native of Franklin County. She is a graduate of NCCU (magna cum laude), majoring in Human Sciences Education. Prior to retirement, Harriett completed a professional career at Weldon City Schools as an administrator.  She also facilitated several teen abstinence projects at Weldon City Schools (Project ASPIRE (CBAE) and the Healthy Marriage MATTERS program). Both federal grant proposals were created and submitted by CJH.
